Author's Notes: I wrote this story because I really thought there should have been a scene with Daniel and Sam after Sam was rescued in Death Knell. I had intended it to be a very short story, but it turned out to be a whole lot longer than anticipated and developed into a full-blown romance fic.

There were originally two versions of this story, a PG-13 and an R-rated version. I have combined the two, including links within the chapters to the PG-13 versions of the love scenes.
